Farewell to Jamie

Jul 3, 2020

The team at Cambridge Software waved farewell to our Managing Director Jamie Collinson earlier this week.

Jamie has been with Cambridge Software for nearly 6 years and has steered the company into exciting new territory during his role as Managing Director in the last 2 years. He is leaving the company to take up an exciting technical challenge with a new agritechnology company.

One of Jamie’s successes was to take RealtimeCRM forward and significantly grow its uptake in a crowded market. In a parting message Jamie said:

It’s been a pleasure to work with such a brilliant team and lovely clients over the past 6 years, and I’ll always be proud of taking RealtimeCRM from zero to a successful SaaS product. We’ve worked hard to ensure the transition will be seamless for clients and users of our product, and I have every confidence in David and the rest of the team.

David McLeary will be stepping into the role of Managing Director. David has been with the company for over 6 years so all of our customers will know him well. He’ll be the one to speak to for those who want to chat about CRM systems or application development where he’ll be able to call on his development and consultancy expertise.

David said:

We are all very grateful for what you have done, Jamie and for laying excellent groundwork for me to come into. The company is in good shape and I’m honoured to be taking up the reigns.
